The Club at Ibis hosts its fourth annual Etiquette Lunch and Club Tour on May 12 for 100 Palm Beach County high school students interested in careers in the hospitality or culinary industries. The students will join Ibis from five area high schools; John I. Leonard, Forest Hill, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Olympic Heights.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is designed to invest in the industry’s future workforce by engaging and educating teens on the possible career paths within hospitality, and to provide a foundation of basic etiquette skills that are applicable to any future job or social setting.

The highlight of the event is the elegant, three-course meal that is served during a concurrent etiquette lesson conducted by Ibis Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Michael Forgione. This year’s menu will feature a duo of vichyssoise and baby green salad with raspberry dressing, an entrée of chicken francaise with william potato and grilled summer squash, and a decadent black forest mousse cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
