This just out, from The Lord’s Place:

The Lord’s Place, a West Palm Beach nonprofit that helps the homeless, has for the third consecutive year been named one of Florida’s Best Companies To Work For.

In the listing compiled by Florida Trend magazine, The Lord’s Place ranked 7th among best mid-sized companies to work for and was the only nonprofit among the Top 100 Best Companies.

In addition, The Lord’s Place was named a winner of the 2016 When Work Works Award, honoring companies that excel at creating effective workplaces. Criteria used to determine the winners included work/life balance policies, flexible scheduling and transition-to-parenthood programs.  The When Work Works Awards program is administered by the Families and Work Institute (FWI) and the Society for Human Resource Management.

“We are so pleased for our agency and our employees to be honored with these awards,” said The Lord’s Place CEO Diana Stanley.  “We really do love our work at The Lord’s Place. These recognitions are a tribute to our commitment to our mission.”

The Lord’s Place has 97 employees at six campuses who work to break the cycle of homelessness in Palm Beach County.
