West Palm paralympian wins silver in Rio

West Palm Beach’s Dorian Weber won a silver medal in the Lightweight Coxed Four rowing event at the Paralympics in Rio last week.

While PBRA has several past Olympians and U.S. national team members, this is the first time the club and the city Department of Parks and Recreation have been able to boast about a current team member.

Power boat traffic on the lake is restricted to electric trawling motors only, allowing calm conditions ideal for beginners and serious rowing shell racers.
The city’s Department of Parks and Recreation encourages people of all ages and abilities to discover Lake Mangonia, at 2953-3119 N Australian Avenue, with plenty of parking and easy access to the water.
