A vacant property at the intersection of Okeechobee Boulevard and Dixie Highway, known for years as the Tent Site, will see activity next week under, of all things, a tent-like temporary structure.

Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary (PBM+C), presented by Art Miami and sponsored by Christie’s International Real Estate, is scheduled to host an art show there from Jan. 12 to 15.

In the 65,000-square-foot pavilion, collectors and art connoisseurs and art world luminaries will have the opportunity to acquire contemporary, Post-War works from 60 international galleries from as far as Japan, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, The Netherlands, Portugal, and Venezuela, the sponsors say.

The show opens to VIP ticket-holders from 5  to 9 p.m. on Jan. 12, then to the general public on the 13th and 14th, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Jan. 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A one-day general admission pass costs about $27.
