An exhibition tomorrow (Thursday, April 6) at Studio 1698 will showcase works by local photographer Lori Griffith, as well as paddleboards that will be used in the upcoming 2017 Crossing For A Cure paddleboard challenge, where 30 paddle-boarders will cross 50 miles from Bimini back to Florida to raise money and awareness for cystic fibrosis.
Join Piper’s Angels and Studio 1608 for a night of art and philanthropy at the studio at 1608 S. Dixie Hwy., from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free and light beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be available.
Crossing For A Cure is the flagship event for Florida-based cystic fibrosis non-profit organization, Piper’s Angels. The 2017 Crossing For A Cure will take place June 17, starting at the Bimini Big Game Club, ending at Dania Beach.
